  1. you do yourself disservice, dear johnny, in your intro–i found this one goosebump inducing (and for me, that’s the height of emotion about poetry, or any art form, for that matter). i especially hung on the second half of the poem, beginning with “Memories of all my percentages of water…” wow, just wow.

    1. Thank you Mariah!
I didn’t mean to put myself down, I just don’t know the origin of the poem, it’s almost like I didn’t write it, you know? Weird feeling.
It’s always great to see you around here.

      1. yes, i completely understand…sometimes the words just come from nowhere. i’ve opened my notebooks to find poems i’ve written a few months ago and don’t recognize them as my own!

    1. Thank you!
I suppose sometimes even my own poetry is beyond me, but it is a rare occurrence, it think it has happened twice.
I appreciate tons that you’ve read it.

  2. Sometimes, Johnny, words just pop out of our gray matter– due to an at-the-moment feeling… or memory… or like scrapbooking or doodling– it becomes art. Anyway the results can still be poetic. Like many others, I really liked the verse of this work. Peace.
