SCOTTISH WOLF (english poetry)

I was talking to my dear sister early yesterday about how I’m always single, things never seem to quite work. Then I saw a documentary about wolves, and voilá, we have a poem.

If anyone ever wondered about my process, there doesn’t seem to really be one, I just take things and write them down, almost like notes, except they rhyme.

  1. Stunning and resonate. Hey, would you like to come play with the poetry group at dVerse? I have only participated a few times, but there is some wonderful art and a friendly group of poets there. Check it out, here is the link:

Love this poem by the way. Blood that both binds and reflects a separation, stunning and vivid. Lona

  2. Very powerful poem with poignant imagery. Love the identification of the poem narrator with the wolf’s ferocity and loneliness. It still resonates with me. By the way, thank you so much for stopping by my humble blog. I really appreciate this!

  3. This was amazing! You really took me there with you. I’ve been writing off and on since I was about 10. I still feel pretty new to writing but I absolutely love words. I wasn’t sure why you chose the title(I read the tips you’ve learned blog) until I begin to reread the poem and do a little word research. Very clever.
