A short-attempt at surrealism made to test the viability of Yangtze, just because I really missed posting. (beware: this is not a good poem to read aloud, it has a lot of bad sound variations, the kind Bach would frown upon)

Johnny,
Very lovely and spot on. Life is to be lived in this human form and how else but madly? Excellent!! Jordan

Mhm, and loving that madness too, shaping worlds with it instead of collapsing.
Thank you, Jordan, you’re always such a sweet and gentile being towards me.

I searched poetry on “Reader” randomly. Yours was the first that seemed interesting. It was even better than I expected. Fantastic choice of words.

Oh, thank you so much Lohansa! This poem is impish compared to my bigger works, but it means so much to me that it captured your attention.
Again, thank you, with all my heart.

A well crafted reminder that there is something about words makes us look hard for meanings, even see some, in nonsense.
Beyond that very important and instructive lesson, you demonstrate a mastery here for stringing together words in beautiful, albeit nonsensical, ways.

So sorry for the latency in response, I’m not sure how I missed this. Thank you so much Paul, surrealism is about that very thing, making meaning as obscure as it can be, without crossing the line to abstract and removing it completely. I’m extremely honoured by receiving your compliments, they mean a lot to me.

Amazing write 🌻What would life really be without chaos? We definitely need a little to be human right?

Oh, absolutely. It is far too easy to fall entrapped and enchanted by these fictions we weave and power through, but these is an elastic band holding us to our humanity, our frailty and challenge. But what would those realms of dreaming be if we only knew them and not the cruelty we must brave? They would be dust.
Thank you Melanie!
